Hermes is a Greek deity and their herald. He is also considered the protector of travellers, thieves, merchants, and orators.
Later he also became the Psychopomp, or guide for the human souls after their death.
This is an antique Bronze on a Marble pedestal, made in Italy presumably in the second half of 1900. It is in very good condition and can be a stunning home decor piece. It is also considered a protector in the house.
